Stephen's Journey

1994: Bachelor's Degree in Music Composition, Manhattan School of Music
1995: Carnegie Hall conducting debut with NY Youth Symphony
1995-2001: Worked in London with Cameron Mackintosh, and was Claude-Michel Schonberg's assistant.
2001: Moved to Los Angeles; began working on feature films

Orchestration & Arrangements

Stephen has been the lead orchestrator for over 180 feature films and hundreds of television episodes, including iconic projects such as Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, and Westworld. He has collaborated with artists such as Christina Aguilera, Amy Winehouse, and Usher, and created orchestral arrangements for world-class ensembles like the London Symphony Orchestra, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

Personal Story

Born in South Carolina and raised in Alabama, Stephen's journey led him to New York where Stephen was hired by Tony Award-winning orchestrator William D. Brohn to assist in the orchestrations of several Broadway shows including "Crazy For You," "The Red Shoes," "The Secret Garden," and the Lincoln Center performances of "110 Degrees in the Shade."

Then onto London where Stephen worked in the offices of Cameron Mackintosh, LTD, where he assisted in the production, orchestration and rehearsals of several West End musicals including "Miss Saigon", "The Witches of Eastwick", and "the Les Miserables Tenth Anniversary Concert". While in London he worked as assistant to the composer, Claude-Michel Schonberg. And then he finally moved to Los Angeles to focus on film music.
